Venice is famous for being wet. Instead of roads it has canals and you can travel around it by boat, but a rise in the sea around the city has left it flooded.
Which has left some people finding alternative ways to get around. Let's hope the man doing the carrying here hasn't got much further to wade.
Waters haven't been this high in the city since 1986. Although the record level was almost half a metre higher - that happened way back in 1966.
Around 3,000 people decided to leave the city but these brave people hung around and made the best of it.
As did these gentlemen. They look like they're enjoying the wet weather. And their lunch.
But these ladies aren't. They used a table to try and keep the water from flooding into their shop.
