The troubles in Thailand have left thousands of tourists stranded because the main airports are all closed. Newsround's Sonali was one of the people stuck there.
Sonali's holiday company eventually got her on a flight, but she had to wait for hours in the dark for a coach to come and take her to U-Tapao military airbase.
When she got there, check-in was on the pavement by the side of the road! It took hours though but Sonali said it was "quite an adventure".
And the airbase was crammed with people. "I was worried I would get crushed as there were thousands of people and every time they announced a new flight, everyone surged forward," Sonali said.
It took Sonali an incredible 35 hours to get home from Thailand - and that was with a change in Mumbai. "It was chaotic but I was just pleased to home. I was lucky, many people are still stuck there," she said.
