Wet noses make dogs good sniffers


Have you ever wondered why dogs always have wet noses, and can sniff things out better than humans?

Well, scientists think they've found the answer to both those questions.

Experts say the extra snot is what gives our furry friends their amazing sense of smell.

The layer of mucus in dogs' noses absorbs some molecules quicker than others, helping them to sniff things out, and identify smells.
