A Scottish scientist has won an award for inventing a new way of studying volcanoes.
Dr Andrew McGonigle uses a helicopter with a specialist computer attached to fly over the volcano.
The information gathered helps experts predict when the volcano might erupt, so they can warn people to get away in time.
