Celebs help with Children in Need

Terry Wogan and Tess Daley with Pudsey Bear

Girls Aloud and Take That are among a galaxy of stars who're doing their bit to help Pudsey Bear raise loads of cash for the BBC's Children in Need appeal.

Tess Daly, Fearne Cotton and Terry Wogan are hosting Friday's television appeal, to raise as much as possible to help disadvantaged children in the UK.

The Sugababes, former X Factor winner Leon Jackson and John Barrowman will all be appealing for donations.

And McFly will be on hand to perform their Children In Need song, Do Ya.

Although celebs do a lot to help raise money for the Children in Need appeal, the charity also depends on the amazing fundraising efforts of ordinary people.

In 2007, more than 19 million was raised on the night, but the total reaching a staggering 37 million after all the donations and fund-raising had been counted.
