Burnley dump Chelsea out of Cup

Burnley celebrate their win

Premier League leaders Chelsea have been booted out of the Carling Cup by Championship side Burnley after a dramatic penalty shoot-out.

Goalie Brian Jensen blocked Jon Mikel Obi's deciding shot to help his team make it to the quarter-finals.

The score had been 1-1 after extra time at Stamford Bridge, thanks to goals by Didier Drogba and Ade Akinbiyi.

Elsewhere, it was more good news for Tottenham Hotspur who beat Liverpool 4-2 to leave them on the Cup sidelines.

Who's in the quarter-finals?
Arsenal
Blackburn
Burnley
Derby
Manchester United
Stoke
Tottenham Hotspur
Watford
The home side scored three goals in just six minutes in the first half at White Hart Lane to go into the break, 3-0.

Damien Plessis and Sami Hyypia got two back for Liverpool soon after, but it wasn't enough and Roman Pavlyuchenko knocked in his second goal of the match to seal the win.

Meanwhile, Blackburn are also through to the quarter-finals after beating Sunderland, 2-1.
