Arsenal grab win over Man United

Samir Nasri celebrates his goal for Arsenal

Arsenal grabbed a big win in the Premier League after their poor recent form, beating Manchester United 2-1.

French midfielder Sami Nasri scored in each half for the Gunners, while substitute defender Rafael smashed in brilliant late goal for United.

Wayne Rooney and Ronaldo both missed good chances in the first half for United, while Nicklas Bendtner also should have scored some goals.

Later, Everton and Portsmouth both grabbed wins with late, late goals.

Everton had former Manchester United striker Louis Saha to thank for their win, as he set up one goal and scored two in a 3-1 against West Ham.

OTHER PREMIER LEAGUE SCORES
Wigan 0-0 Stoke City
Hull City 0-1 Bolton Wanderers
Liverpool 3-0 West Brom
All three of those Everton goals came in a four-minute spell in the final stages, after Jack Collison scored a terrific goal for the home side.

Portsmouth also left it late before earning Tony Adams his first win since taking charge.

Jermain Defoe crashed home a penalty for Portsmouth, who recovered from going behind after just three minutes when Sunderland opened the scoring.

That goal came from Djibril Cisse, but Pompey equalised just after half-time when Nadir Belhadj smashed in his first goal for Portsmouth from long distance.
