Fifth week on top for Katy Perry

Katy Perry

It seems people are still buying Katy Perry's track I Kissed A Girl, as it is number one for a fifth week.

The American singer held off the challenge of Eric Prydz, who stayed at number two with Pjanoo.

The highest new entry was at number three, with the Pussycat Dolls back in the charts with When I Grow Up.

Although she's not quite broken into the top 10 just yet, Miley Cyrus is slowly working her way there, moving nine spots up to number 14.

Miley's song See You Again was at 23 last week and 54 the week before that, so could sneak into the top 10 next week.

There was also no change in the album chart, with The Verve still rocking at the top spot with Forth.
