Lewis Hamilton has roared to pole position at the Belgian Grand Prix, as he chases the world championship.
The British race ace produced a scorching lap to finish in front of his main championship rival Felipe Massa.
Massa drove his Ferrari to second place, just ahead of Hamilton's McLaren team-mate Heikki Kovalainen.
Reigning champion Kimi Raikkonen had to settle for fourth spot on the grid, ahead of Sunday's race, which could be affected by rain.
Hamilton is currently six points ahead of Massa in the standings, and 13 in front of Raikkonen.
