World records
Pete Norfolk, nicknamed 'Quadfather', beat Sweden's Johan Andersson with ease in tennis. He also won a bronze in the quad doubles. His partner for this was Jamie Burdekin.
David Weir's gold medal in T54 800m final was reinstated after Australia protested over the lane order - but it was overturned. He now has the 1500m heats, semis and finals coming up. And also the marathon on Wednesday. He is doing superbly under the circumstances of struggling with a virus.
Shelly Woods got bronze in the re-run of the T54 1500m and also finished third in the T54 800m semi-final with a time of 55.52s. I hope she medals in the final.
Dave Roberts broke the world record in his 400m freestyle. He won his third swimming gold of the Games, and also his 10th Paralympic title!
Heather Frederiksen set a new world record in her 100m backstroke, with a time of one minute 16.74 seconds. She also got a silver in 100m freestyle.
Great Britain has also won two gold medals in the inaugural Paralympic rowing event held at the Shunyi Rowing Lake.
At the moment the tally is 33 golds, 20 silvers and 16 bronze. Well done Great Britain!
Great medal tally
The first few days of the Paralympics have been more than Great Britain could have hoped for. With already 16 golds, 10 silvers, and 7 bronze, we are in second place behind the hosts.
Mark Bristow, who lost the use of his arm from a tree collision, won a 1st place in the 1000m in his category for cycling. Jody Cundy won medals in the Atlanta, Sydney and Athens Paralympics in swimming, now he has come to Beijing to try his hand at cycling...and came out 5.5 seconds ahead with a gold medal.
Shelley Woods won a silver medal in the T54 5000m final, but because of that terrible pile up where 6 athletes were felled, her medal has been taken away from her only to be told the race was to be re-run on Friday. Imagine the joy of winning a medal, but then having it taken away from you must be horrible.
The men's basketball team won against China with an amazing score. They also beat the USA, even though USA were the favourites to win. The score was 54-50, very close.
Sophie Christensen, who used to go to the same school as me, got a silver in the dressage.
Danny Crates who was the flag bearer in the Opening Ceremony, has had good news, he won his race but has unfortunately had to pull out of the Games due to an old calf injury. I hope he gets better and we are all proud of him.
Finally, the 'Famous 5' of cycling can give themselves a pat on the back because they have got 9 out of 10 gold medals already.
Amazing Opening Ceremony
I was amazed by the Opening Ceremony - I was basically glued to the screen.
There were so many countries that were present, it seemed to go on forever! There were big teams and small teams, but all had team spirit and were equally excited as one another.
Team GB's flag bearer was Danny Crate, a 800m champion and was voted for by his team mates.
The Bird's Nest Stadium held a massive 92,000 people!
I absolutely loved the way throughout the ceremony disabled people were brought into it, such as the deaf girls' dance, and the blind pianist and blind singer. It was showing that disabled people could still do things like this. I was amazed how precise the 300 deaf girls' dance was, how they all kept in time.
The torch relay was so exciting, I was astounded by the strength and perseverance from the man who lit the torch. He must have been exhausted after pulling him and his wheelchair up that long way!
Thirty five golds were won in the Athens Paralympics in 2004 by Great Britain, but I have no doubt they will exceed that number this time.
I wish everyone good luck and especially to David Weir, who I hope gets the number of medals he is aiming for.
Are you excited about the Paralympics?

Yes, very excited. It's great to see other athletes doing disability sports, showing how they can participate in sports and achieve. I'm also excited because I know some of the people competing at the Games.
Which sports are you most excited about watching?
Wheelchair racing, as champion David Weir and I have the same coach. I also look forward to seeing wheelchair tennis, archery, table tennis, athletics, rifle shooting and swimming. I'm really pleased that there's going to be a lot of TV coverage of these Paralympic Games. And I've cancelled a sports competition this weekend so I can watch it!
Prediction for possible medals:
Pete Norfolk in the wheelchair tennis; singles and doubles. David Weir in wheelchair racing. Sophie Christensen should get a gold in equestrian/dressage.
