St Helens take Challenge Cup win

Francis Meli scores for Saint Helens

St Helens held off a strong fightback by Hull FC to win Rugby League's Challenge Cup final 28-16, bagging their third title in a row.

Saints went 10-0 up before half time, thanks to tries from Matt Gidley and Francis Meli, but Hull weren't out of the game yet.

Kirk Yeaman got two converted tries, putting them ahead 12-10.

But Saints turned it round, hitting back as Meli, Jon Wilkin and Leon Pryce all scored to secure the win.
