With Team GB's cyclists like Chris Hoy going for gold out in Beijing, Newsround's Ricky wondered if their success is making YOU want to get on your bikes...
To try and find out, he went to the Manchester Velodrome, the home of Great Britain's cycling team.
Some of the kids he spoke to were looking forward to taking to the track for the first time, but lots of them had tried it before.
Fourteen-year-old Ben was there for a training session. He told Ricky that cycling's "Very tiring, but great fun."
Ricky found out that the bikes are a bit strange - they don't have any gears or brakes!
Thirteen-year-old Thomas said he'd done mountain biking before, but decided to give track cycling a go after watching Team GB's cyclists in Beijing.
Ricky also had a chat with Helen Mortimer, who works with Team GB's Olympic cyclists.
But then it was time for him to have a go himself...
He took to the track in style, and said it was really exciting!
He did quite well - but after ten minutes he was really tired!
