Musical review: Into the Hoods

The stars

The big star of the show is Britain's Got Talent winner George Sampson, but all the other dancers are also well known in other parts of the music and TV worlds.

The plot

This is the first EVER hip-hop musical to make the West End its home, but you don't have to be a fan of hip-hop music to enjoy the great dance routines, funny jokes and stories.

The musical goes through all of the best-known fairy tales such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel, but each story is transformed and given cool songs to create a new modern effect.

So many different characters are created and based around the ones that have been taken from fairytales. It works out really well to produce a good mixture and give a fun feel to the entire musical.

Best bits

All the dance routines were amazing and you could see the whole audience dancing around in their seats! The costumes were great too and the actors got a standing ovation!

Any weak bits?

Every time George Sampson came out on stage there were thousands of girls screaming! It was funny, but you came out with a bit of a throbbing head!
