Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard could miss out on next week's Champions League qualifier against Standard Liege because he's hurt his leg.
He limped off the pitch with a thigh strain during Liverpool's 4-1 friendly win against Valerenga on Tuesday.
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has got his fingers crossed the 28-year-old will be fit enough to travel to Belgium for the 12 August fixture.
"It is a thigh strain. We need to wait but it could be one week," he said.
