Sats row rumbles on over holidays

A Sats monster

It's the middle of the summer holidays and the last thing most of you want to be thinking about is school.

But the row over Sats results for 11-year-olds in England, which started before you broke up, is STILL going on.

The government is due to announce the country's overall results on Tuesday, even though thousands of you still don't know your own marks.

A month after the deadline for results to be sent out, 460 schools are still waiting to see how their pupils did.

Head teachers say there have been too many problems marking this year's Sats.

And they don't think the government should publish England's overall results for primary schools until they can be certain all the marks are right.

But the government says it's sure the national results will be reliable.
