Murray loses semi-final to Nadal

Andy Murray has been knocked out of the Toronto Masters in Canada after losing his semi-final match to Rafael Nadal.

It looked as if the British number one was on a winning streak after he beat Novak Djokovic for the first time ever in the quarter-finals.

But the win set him against Nadal, who earlier this month sent Murray crashing out of Wimbledon.

And despite putting on a brave show, once again Murray failed to beat the Spaniard, losing 7-6 (7-2) 6-3.

And after the match Murray said Nadal is still getting better.

"He's definitely doing a lot of things better than he was in the past," he said.

"I think he's moving better on hard courts, and I think he's sort of changing the pace of the ball a little bit more and not playing so far behind the baseline like he did in the past.

"That's why I think he'll be number one in the world soon."

Nadal will be trying for his 29th win in a row when he faces Germany's Nicolas Kiefer in the final.
