People who get caught selling knives to kids should face harsher punishments, according to some politicians.
Knives are in the news a lot at the moment, with younger children becoming the victims of knife crime.
But nobody who was found breaking the law by selling knives to under 16s between 2001 and 2006 in England and Wales was sent to jail.
Some people think shopkeepers should face tougher punishments, to help stop kids getting their hands on knives.
It's illegal to sell a knife to a child, and if a shopkeeper is caught they can go to jail for up to six months, and they could be fined up to £5000.
Seventy-one people were found guilty of doing it, but most of them were given fines of less than £500.
Carrying knives doesn't make you safer

Chris Huhne, from the Liberal Democrats party, said the figures were "frankly shocking".
The government says they've increased the age limit for buying a knife from 16 to 18, and they're getting tougher on anyone who's found carrying one.
Newsround asked some kids what they think...
Shane, aged 11, said: "If they're caught selling knives to children under 18 I think they should be put to jail for a very long time."
Haik, also 11, said: "I think they should go to prison for five years and the shop should be taken away from them, and they can't work in any other shop as well."
And 10-year-old Andrew said it's very dangerous for children to buy knives.
He said: "The shopkeepers should go to prison for about two years."
