What's your worst sporting injury?

Studying an X ray

A boy's been badly hurt when his shinpad cut into his leg during a footie match.

So that made us think - what injuries have YOU suffered while playing sport?

Perhaps you've knocked your teeth out on the trampoline, got a black eye on the rugby pitch or grazed your knee on the netball court?

Have you broken a leg while horse riding or broken a nail while snow boarding?

Or perhaps you're the one who's had a few lucky escapes?

Unfortunately this topic is now closed but there are Comments pages on other subjects on the main Chat index

When I was eight, I was playing in a netball match when I slipped and ended up doing the box splits, which I had never done before as I am not the most flexible person! That really hurt but I still carried on with the match. The next thing was when I was in an ice-skating competition. I was about to do a jump when someone in the audience started yelling at me.
