Nadal is men's Wimbledon champ

Spanish star Rafael Nadal has beaten reigning Wimbledon champ Roger Federer in a thrilling men's singles final.

He beat the five-time champ in an unbelievable match 6-4 6-4 6-7 (5-7) 6-7 (8-10) 9-7.

It's the first time Nadal has won Wimbledon. He's come second to Federer for the past two years.

The match was nerve-racking with both players putting on astonishing displays of skill in a dramatic game which was broken up by rain breaks.

Ranked number one, Federer, from Switzerland, has been the Wimbledon single's champion since 2003.

It was the longest men's singles final in 28 years.

Rain had delayed the match starting, and also forced two shower breaks.
