Pupils at a school which tried to ditch its witch logo have voted to keep the creepy figure on their badge!

The logo of Warboys Community Primary in Cambridgeshire has featured a witch on a broomstick for more than 60 years.

A row broke out when the head said it gave the school a bad image and should be changed, but some people argued the witch was part of the area's history.

So pupils at the school helped design and choose a new one, and although it's different, it still features a witch!

Witches are a big part of Warboys' history as it's the last recorded place in England where women who were thought to be witches were killed in the 1500s.

Head teacher Martin Kelsey asked kids to come up with ideas for the new logo.

Then a designer used their ideas to help create three new logos for them to vote on.

The pupils chose one featuring four different pictures - a tree, a clock tower, a book - and a witch!

Some parents aren't happy that time and money was spent on creating the new design.

But the school will start using the new logo in September.
