Murray's easy Wimbledon win

Andy Murray in action

There's at least one bit of good news for fans of British tennis as Andy Murray eased through his second round match at Wimbledon.

The British number one won 6-4 6-2 6-2 against Xavier Malisse in his Centre Court game on Thursday.

"It's nice to get off the court in straight sets in my first two matches," he told the BBC.

But fellow Brit Anne Keothavong was knocked out, and Chris Eaton lost to Russia's Dmitry Tursunov.

Anne Keothavong was beaten 7-5 6-2 in her match, but she did well against her opponent Venus Williams - who won Wimbledon last year!

Chris Eaton is ranked 661st in the world and surprised some by winning his first round match.

But his Wimbledon adventure is now over, after losing 7-6 6-2 6-4 to Tursunov.

Maria Sharapova and Andy Roddick were the big name casualties on Thursday.

Sharapova went out in straight sets to fellow Russian Alla Kudryavtseva, while Roddick lost in four to unseeded Serb Janko Tipsarevic.
