Coldplay rule the UK charts

Coldplay have got their first ever UK number one single with Viva La Vida, even though it's not in the shops yet.

So many people have downloaded the title track of their latest album from the internet that it's shot them straight into the top spot.

Their album, Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends, is also number one in the charts for a second week.

It sold 302,000 copies in its first three days on sale and is the band's fastest-selling album yet.

Back in the singles chart, last week's number one Singin' in the Rain by dance act Mint Royale fell seven places to number eight.

And Ne-Yo and Rihanna swapped places, with Ne-Yo climbing to number two and Rihanna falling to three with Take a Bow.
