Hundreds of thousands of people have been forced from their homes after parts of America and China were hit by flooding.

Rivers in the US state of Iowa burst their banks and caused lots of damage after storms last week.

Several cities were left underwater and 24,000 people have had to leave their homes.

And in southern China, at least 55 people have died and more than one million have had to leave their homes.

Government officials said torrential downpours had caused flooding in nine provinces.

One of those badly hit is Sichuan, which is still reeling from last month's massive earthquake which killed around 87,000 people.
