A row's broken out in America because a nine-year-old boy was allowed to travel the city of New York all by himself.
Izzy, who's now ten-years-old, lives three miles away from the city. His mum gave him a map, and some money to explore, and find his way home.
Izzy hopped on the subway, which is an underground train, and the bus, before getting safely home.
But lots of people say his parents were wrong to let him out at such a young age, because it's too dangerous.
But Izzy's parents say they did it to boost his confidence, and give him some independence.
His mum Lenore says letting kids out is not as dangerous as people think.
Izzy said: "I was asking for quite a while before she let me go."
His mum said she talked to Izzy's dad about it, and looked at a map.
She said: "He asked me to go someplace new that he hadn't been, and I let him try to find his way home.
"I thought well, it's not unsafe, it's not hard.
"What I hope I'm giving him is a chance to be a child, as opposed to being prisoner number H250."
