Nettles normally get a pretty bad name for themselves - they don't look great and they've got a nasty sting.
But some people reckon we should be nice to nettles, which is why National Be Nice to Nettles Week has been declared, to clean up their image.
The people behind the event want us to know about the plus side of the plant, pointing out they're used to make food, tea and even medicine.
All the same, we're sure most people would prefer a nice bunch of flowers!
Nettles sting to stop animals eating them, releasing an acid into our skin through little hairs on their leaves.
But if they're prepared properly, and handled carefully, they can be used in lots of recipes, like soup and even cheese!
