Winehouse arrested over drugs

Amy Winehouse has been arrested because police think she had illegal drugs.

Her spokesman said that the singer was arrested on Wednesday night, and was being questioned by police, at a station in east London.

Amy's been in trouble with police earlier this year. She spent a night in police cells after two men accused her of hitting them.

The 24-year-old admitted to slapping a man in the face in north London, close to where she lives.
