Filming for Dr Who Xmas special

Doctor Who fans gathered to watch as filming took place for this year's 2008 Christmas Special.

The area around Gloucester Cathedral was covered with fake snow and a security guard sat in front of the Tardis, which was covered with a sheet.

Pretend mourners in Victorian costume marched in front of a horse-drawn cart carrying a coffin.

The actual plot is top secret, but it's thought to feature the Doctor's deadliest enemies, the Cybermen.
