13th number one for diva Madonna

Madonna

The number 13 isn't unlucky for Madonna as the queen of pop has notched up her 13th number one single!

Her track, called 4 Minutes, features Justin Timberlake and knocked hip-hop star Estelle from the pole position.

She's gone down to number two with American Boy featuring Kanye West after four weeks at number one.

Madonna's song is off her new album, Hard Candy, which comes out on 28 April. It's the first time she's released a single with a guest artist.

Madonna, 49, has had more UK number one singles than any other female solo artist. Kylie Minogue is in second place - but she's only had seven number ones so far.

Elsewhere in the singles chart, Black & Gold by Sam Sparro dropped one place to number three, while Low by Flo Rida featuring T-Pain slipped a place to number four.

In the album chart, The Kooks saw their second album, Konk, storm into the top slot.

X Factor winner Leona Lewis's album, Spirit, climbed three places to number two, while Mariah Carey's new release, EMC2, entered in at number three.
