A teenager has appeared in court in Liverpool charged with murdering 11-year-old Rhys Jones.
The 17-year-old boy is accused of shooting Rhys in the neck as he walked home from football training last year.
Five other people, including three other teenagers, are accused of helping an offender. One of them is also accused of having a gun.
All six appeared at Liverpool Magistrates' Court, and are now being held by police.
Police investigating Rhys's death arrested a total of 13 people on Tuesday and Wednesday. The others have been released while police carry out more investigations.
The police have praised Rhys' parents for being patient, brave and strong in the eight months since their son was killed on 22 August last year.
