Sportsround Superkids: Week 11

Superkids

Who is better at sport - girls or boys?

Sportsround is challenging some of the sportiest boys and girls in the country to compete against each other in a sport they've never tried before.

This week's Superkids challenge is triathlon, and is the grand final. It involves swimming, cycling and running in a combined race.

This week's challengers are three girls from Wycombe Rye hockey club and three boys from Richmond rugby club.

The score is tied at 5-5, so whichever team triumphs this time is the overall winner of Superkids!

THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGERS: THE BOYS

James, George and John
NAMES: James, George and John

USUAL SPORT: Rugby

THE BOYS SAY: "We're gonna win. The girls are going to lose, we're way stronger."

THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGERS: THE GIRLS

Beth, Amy and Lucy
NAMES: Beth, Amy and Lucy

USUAL SPORT: Hockey

THE GIRLS SAY: "They're saying they're the best, but we're quietly confident and I think we're better."

THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE: TRIATHLON

Our two Superkids will have to transfer their skills to getting round our testing Sportsround Superkids triathlon course. Normally a triathlete does all three bits themselves, but we're splitting the tasks, so each Superkid does one bit.

One will complete the swim section, hand off to the cyclist and the race will finish with a run.

WHO WILL WIN?

It's official! The girls are the winners. They raced to victory in fantastic style. Watch how they did!
