Crowds gathered at Sydney Harbour in Australia to watch a VERY unusual type of flying competition.
Thirty-six teams from across the country entered the competition. The idea was to get their flying machine to stay in the air as long as possible.
There were some weird and wonderful designs - including this flying pig. Pigs might fly, eh?!
The event was the first of its kind in Sydney. The competition started in Austria in 1991 and has been held at locations worldwide since.
It's known as Flugtag - which means 'flying day' in German. America, Ireland and England are among the countries which have hosted similar events.
You've got to be brave to take the plunge. There were plenty of boats in the harbour to rescue anyone who got into trouble.
Looks like Australia's first Flugtag was a flying success! Wonder what the competitors will come up with next time?
