Best in Show Philippe, a Giant Schnauzer

It was third time lucky for Philippe, a Giant Schnauzer, who proved himself top dog when he took the prestigious Best in Show title at the world's biggest dog show, Crufts.

Hermioni, a Samoyed, was named Reserve Best in Show

No, this isn't a cuddly toy! This is the runner-up, called Hermioni and a Samoyed. Bet she needs a lot of brushing!

More than 23,960 dogs, including 1,165 from overseas, took part in the four-day event in Birmingham.

There were loads of different events, including agility and doggy dancing as well as proving that your dog is simply the best of its kind.

Now this is a toy dog! A record 160,000 people visited the show, where there were all kinds of canine accessories and doggy goods.
