Barnsley score shock FA Cup win

Kayode Odejayi scores against Chelsea

Barnsley have dumped FA Cup holders Chelsea out of the competition with a shock 1-0 victory at Oakwell.

Striker Kayode Odejayi headed in a Martin Devaney cross to net the winning goal and secure the Championship side's place in the semi-finals at Wembley.

The last time Barnsley reached the semis was in 1912, when they went on to win their one and only FA Cup title.

Earlier, Manchester United were booted out of the competition when Portsmouth beat them 1-0 at Old Trafford.

United had dominated the quarter-final clash, but Sulley Muntari hit the winner from the spot after Milan Baros was knocked down by substitute keeper Tomasz Kuszczak.

Kuszczak was sent off and Rio Ferdinand took over in goal, but he couldn't stop Muntari scoring.

The win means Portsmouth are heading back to Wembley for the first time since 1939 for the semi-finals.

Pompey's victory has also shattered United's dreams of repeating their 1999 treble triumph, when they won the Premiership, the FA Cup AND the Uefa Championship.
