Prince Harry has been fighting in Afghanistan for the past 10 weeks, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed.
The 23-year-old has been fighting the Taleban, a group which used to control the country, in Helmand Province.
He was able to fight on condition no-one reported what he was doing, but the news has been leaked by media in other countries.
And now the news is out, Prince Harry is likely to be flown back to the UK because of concerns about his safety.
Before he left, Prince Harry said: "I finally get the chance to do the soldiering that I want to do."
Speaking from Afghanistan, the prince talked about life as a soldier.
He said: "I haven't really had a shower for four days, I haven't washed my clothes for a week.
"It's very nice to be sort of a normal person for once, I think it's about as normal as I'm going to get."
Last year the prince's planned tour to Iraq had to be cancelled because of security fears.
