Countdown to 'glam' Brit Awards

Leona Lewis

Some of the world's most famous pop stars are heading to London to find out if they've won big at the Brit Awards.

The ceremony could have a strong X Factor theme, as Leona Lewis is up for loads of awards and is the favourite to walk away with the most prizes.

She's facing some stiff competition from Take That and Mika, who are nominated for four awards too.

But one singer who's definitely walking away with a prize is Adele, as she's being given the critics' choice award.

This year, the ceremony will be held on two stages at Earls Court to mark the theme "glam versus punk".

The glam stage will feature golden drapes and a curtain of lights, while the punk stage is decked with a ripped Union Jack.

Amy Winehouse, Kylie Minogue and Mark Ronson are just some of the stars who will be performing.

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne

Hosts Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne will sit on thrones, surrounded by two giant sculptures of dogs and a totem pole featuring a skull and gigantic bat.
