More kids dream of stage school

More and more kids are taking the first step towards stardom and trying to get into stage school, and it's all because of TV talent shows.

Stage schools say they're getting more and more applicants, and they reckon it's down to the success of people like Any Dream Will Do's Lee Mead.

Zeena Hicks from the Arts Education School says: "Kids see normal people doing well and it's encouraging them."

Lots of famous people have been to stage school, including former Doctor Who star Billie Piper, Amy Winehouse, Spice Girl Emma Bunton, Sharon Osbourne and model Naomi Campbell.

And with new Saturday night show I'd Do Anything looking for someone to fill two roles in the musical Oliver, it seems more and more kids will be trying their hands at fame.
