Amy's big win at top music awards

Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse cleared up at the Grammy Awards scooping five prizes, but she wasn't at the ceremony in America to collect them.

The troubled singer's list of awards included song of the year and record of the year, both for her single Rehab.

Amy had trouble getting the paperwork, called a visa, to fly to Los Angeles. Although it was sorted out in the end, she decided not to go.

Instead, her performance in London was shown on a huge screen at the ceremony.

The 24-year-old singer was seen hugging her mother as the crowd in Los Angeles chanted her name.

She paid tribute to her husband, and dedicated her win to London because of the huge fire in Camden on Saturday night.

Best rap

Meanwhile, rapper Kanye West also did well.

His four awards included prizes for best rap album and best rap solo performance.

Winning at the Grammys is a really big deal, as they are some of the most important music awards in the world.
