Adele pushed off number one spot


Teenage soul singer Adele has been knocked from the top spot in the album chart by Jack Johnson.

His new release - Sleep Through The Static - went straight in at number one, pushing Adele's 19 down to two.

Adele's Chasing Pavements also dropped a place in the singles chart, to number three.

DJ Basshunter held the top spot for a fifth week with Now You're Gone, with Nickelback's Rock Star moving up a place to two.

Rihanna jumped up one place to four with Don't Stop The Music and Britney Spears dropped a place, from seven to eight, with Piece Of Me.
