Nine-year-old Sarah said: "We couldn't come into school for a few days when there was rubbish outside our school. Underneath all the bin bags there are mice now."

"On my way to school, I have to walk through piles of rubbish - it stinks. When I go home, I can't play in the park because there are piles there too," said eight-year-old Frenci.
