Teenager storms to top of charts


Teenage soul singer Adele is riding high near the top of the album and singles charts this week.

Her debut album, 19, has stormed straight to number one, while her single, Chasing Pavements, is spending its third week in a row at number two.

DJ Basshunter held on for a fourth week at the top with Now You're Gone, and Nickelback stay at three with Rockstar.

Kelly Rowland's Work climbed from seven to four, pushing Rihanna down one place to five, with Don't Stop The Music.

There was just one new entry in this week's top 10, as Hot Chip entered the chart at six with Ready for the Floor.

Back in the albums chart, Indie band Scouting For Girls fell one to number two, while Nickelback climbed seven places to three with All the Right Reasons.
