Fake guns discovered in the cupboard of a primary school gym in Scotland have turned out to be toys.
Police closed Blairtummock primary near Glasgow on Friday when the guns were found.
Officers originally thought they were copies which could fire metal balls - but now they say they are toys which fire small plastic pellets.
A balaclava and other dark clothing was also found, and police are still trying to find out why they were there.
Officers said that the guns found in the cupboard could be bought in many toy shops. They were keen to stress that none of the children had ever been in any danger.
