Amy Winehouse agrees to treatment

Amy Winehouse, last November

Singer Amy Winehouse has checked into a medical clinic to get help for her problems with drugs.

Her record company said Amy had agreed to have treatment after long talks with her family and doctors.

Earlier this week a newspaper published a film of the singer and claimed it showed her taking drugs and her dad says he is really worried about her.

Amy's now hoping the treatment will help her to get better for a big music awards ceremony in America next month.

The Grammys, which are being held in Los Angeles, are perhaps the most important music awards in the world.

But the singer has had to cancel her appearance at another awards ceremony in France at the weekend.
