3D adventures for Buzz Lightyear

Buzz Lightyear

There's good news for Toy Story fans anxiously waiting for the third film, as soon they will be able to see all their fave characters as never before.

Movie bosses have revealed that the first two films are being turned 3D using the latest technology.

But there's still a bit of a wait, with the 3D version of Toy Story not planned to hit cinemas until October 2009.

Toy Story 2 will be released in 3D the year after, followed a few months later by the long-awaited Toy Story 3.

The chairman of The Walt Disney Studios, Dick Cook, promised all the films would give movie-goers an exciting 3D experience.

He said: "We think they're going to love seeing Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and all the wonderful 'Toy Story' cast of characters in an eye popping and dazzling way."
