A British teenager who was voted most promising new talent of 2008 has got the highest new entry in this week's singles chart.
19-year-old soul singer Adele topped the BBC's Sound of 2008 poll and now her latest single, Chasing Pavements, has entered the chart at number two.
But she couldn't beat dance DJ Basshunter to number one - he's top for a second week with Now You're Gone.
Meanwhile, Britney Spears' Piece of Me fell one place to number three.
In the album chart, indie band Scouting For Girls rose three places to take the number one spot.
