It's been a week of contrasts down under, with parts of the country suffering from too much water, and others from not having enough...

Areas like Queensland have been hit by heavy downpours.


Thousands of people have been evacuated from their homes to safety from the rising waters.


Meanwhile, fires have been blazing through parts of southern Australia.


Helicopters have been battling the blazes by dropping water bombs over the fires.
