Is it cool to wear a school tie?

Wearing s school tie

Kids at an Essex primary school have successfully campaigned to get ties included in their school uniform.

They think they make them look smart - and help them get ready for secondary school.

Do you think it's cool to wear a school tie?

Have you got one? Do you like wearing it? Have you got a cool way of wearing it?

If you haven't got one, would you like a school tie? And why?

"Hardly anyone in my school wears a tie I would wear one if I had to but I choose not to."

"We have a special way of wearing our ties, we have them short, long, big knots or small knots. I think it's cool when we do that because it makes us unique and people from other schools get jealous."

Hannah, 13, Bracknell, England

"I go to grammar school so I have to one, but me and my friends all undo our top buttons and make them really big. Then some teachers get mad, but we don't really care we just undo them again when the teachers are gone. The girls in our school never wear their blazers at all which is against the rules. These kids are really going to regret their decision. It's fun for a bit, but gets really boring."
