Andy Murray is among the top 10 men's tennis players in the world after battling to victory in the Qatar Open.
He saw off Switzerland's Stanislas Wawrinka with a 6-4 4-6 6-2 win, to take the fourth title of his career.
The win has helped the British number one climb his way up to ninth place in the latest world rankings, which were released on Monday.
Murray said it had been a great warm up for Grand Slam event the Australian Open, which starts on 14 January.
Speaking after the game, 20-year-old Murray said: "I did a lot of running and I am going to be stiff tomorrow.
"But I am really happy that I came through."
