The fourth series of Doctor Who is likely to be the big TV event of 2008.

But if David Tennant doesn't take your fancy then there's always the latest adventures from mad inventor, Wallace and his pet pooch Gromit in the new CBBC series, Summerhill.

One of the stars you'll become quite familiar with over the year is Jessica Cave. As well as a role in Wallace and Gromit, she'll also star in the next Harry Potter film as Ron Weasley's girlfriend Lavender Brown - which hits the cinema in 2008. Busy girl! (Now postponed until 2009)

Then there's the 2008 Olympics. They're being held in China. About 300 athletes will make up Team GB - let's hope they bag LOADS of medals this time.
