We don't like the dark, say kids

Kids worry about the dark

Being out in the dark really worries four out of 10 of you, according to a survey Newsround carried out to mark our 35th birthday.

In the investigation - called All About You - kids also said they were really concerned about bullying and falling out with their friends.

But six out of 10 of you think your parents worry about you too much and that seems to really bug you.

NR's survey of 1,000 kids looked at many parts of your lives.

It seems there are lots of things that worry you, from school to wars and the environment.

Rebecca, 11, told Newsround: "I worry about exams because I want to get good grades so I can go to college and get a good job"

Martin, 10, said: "The environment because I'm worried the world might end sooner rather than later and I don't want it to be in my time."

Anna, 10, said her parents worry too much about her as they don't let her go too far from home.
