Baby the cat is a very special pet - she has metal plates in all her legs!

Vets fixed up the six-year-old moggy's back legs after she fell 6.5m out of a kitchen window at her London home.

And they were completely surprised when an X-ray showed she already had metal plates in her front legs after a similar bad fall as a kitten!

The short-haired cat, from south London, has now been called "bionic" because she's made up of so much metal!

Vet Jess Gower said Baby was "extremely lucky" to survive the falls.

"A cat falling from this height will commonly sustain severe injuries, so we were stunned to find it was the second time she had done it," she said.

"She's had two lucky escapes but needs to be very careful to keep her remaining lives intact."
